Minecraft crashing

I can log into the server and everthing but everytime i do i get about 15 to 30 seconds of play time and i cant see most of the world when it crashes i get and error it is:
Internal Exception: java.io.EOFException

more people seem to have the same problem.

it seems that i cant do anything about it i think notch has to fix it.

I'm having a similar problem, I log in and I can move around for about a 1min then one of a few things happen 1. I go back to where I spawned, try and move and get sent back again and again, 2. Anyhting I do in the server gets put back to how it was before eg. blocks come back, or doors reopen after closing them. and on top of all this the world doesn't appear outside of the castle and house and then after maybe a couple more mins it logs me out under one of I think two messages. I'll come back and add them once I have writen them down.
